Join us for a weekend of history, culture, and fun at the 31st Annual Hueco Tanks Community Fair! This free, family-friendly event brings together community, tradition, and adventure in one of the most unique historic sites in our region.

Book Preview: Codex Miquiztli, A Mexica Myth in English, Spanish, and Nahuatl- Mexican American Cultural Center. Sun  10/19  1:00 PM- 2:00 PM


Teatro Sin Fronteras presents a first look at CODEX MIQUIZTLI, an illustrated storybook about the indigenous origins of Dia de los Muertos. Join local author Demian Chavez Galvan for a sneak peek and a conversation about the historical and cultural inspirations behind this storybook. The book, written in English, Spanish, and Nahuatl, seeks to raise the awareness and appreciation of indigenous languages among our borderland community. You can pick up your own handcrafted copy of CODEX MIQUIZTLI at our Día de los Muertos Festival! All ages, free, and no registration required.
